Warnings of Middle and/or Low Latitude Auroral Activity (also known as the "Northern Lights", "Aurora Australis" or "Aurora Borealis") are distributed through this list. Warnings differ from Watches. A warning is only issued when conditions are currently capable (or are soon expected to become capable) of producing strong auroral displays over wide-spread middle and/or low latitude regions, whereas a watch is issued when there is much less certainty or when conditions might only produce isolated or sporadic periods of activity. Using Aurorawarn

Subscribing to Aurorawarn
Subscribe to Aurorawarn by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
