SYNOPTICAL INFORMATION
----------------------

     Auroral activity is now summarized by the presence (or absense) of
ground-based sighting reports. Forecast conditions can be inferred through
the geomagnetic activity forecast section of the daily summary report of

0634 UTC - (N45.00 W092.25) - Chippewa Falls, WI 
           Comments: I am seeing a faint green glow to my north, from West
           Central Wisconsin on Dec 7th at 12:30am. I've checked
           www.spaceweather.com and there HAS been some nice activity but with
           wind chills at - 15f below zero and sustained 10 mph winds, it's no
           likely I'll stay out very long. I hope someone else sees this and
           can catch a glimps of the aurora peaking this morning. Good luck
