SYNOPTICAL INFORMATION
----------------------

     Auroral activity is now summarized by the presence (or absense) of
ground-based sighting reports. Forecast conditions can be inferred through
the geomagnetic activity forecast section of the daily summary report of
solar and geophysical activity. Near real-time conditions can be determined

0346 UTC - (N45.00 W092.25) - duluth, mn 
           Comments: Took a drive north out of town to discover some movement.
            Nice rays low on the horizon directly north.  Came back to get the
           camera after they died down.  First sighting in a month or two. 
           Looking forward to tonight and tomorrow.  Hopefully t will flare up
           more!
