SUMMARY OF GROUND-BASED AURORAL ACTIVITY SIGHTINGS

(Sightings are preliminary and may be unverified)
1009 UTC - (N69.00 W154.50) - Kuparuk, Alaska
Comments: From 12:30 am to 01:30 am there were som e pretty good
shows. From horizon to horizon. Very light in color. Got really
intense for about 30 minutes and moving pretty fast. The bonus was
a green meteor with a well lit vapor trail. I was taking ictures
which was kind of hard to do once the moon came up. For the most
part they were directly in line with the moon.
