SYNOPTICAL INFORMATION

     Auroral activity is now summarized by the presence (or absense) of
ground-based sighting reports. Forecast conditions can be inferred through

0401 UTC - (N47.25 W093.00) - GunFlint Trail, Grand Marais MN 
           Comments: On Oct 2nd I whitness the AU a few miles in from the
           North Shore of MN. Purple, Red and Green beams circling around on
           each other for 2 hrs in 32f frigid air, so I called it quits.
