SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

Solar activity was very low. Region 976 (S09E10) has
decayed in size and complexity since appearing yesterday. A B7/SF
flare was observed from new region 977 (S05E53).

Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to be very
       low.

            The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
       expected to be quiet.
