SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

Solar activity was very low. Region 978 in approximate
position S09E68 was designated today and classified as a dso type
       spot group.

Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to remain
very low though there is a slight chance for an isolated C-class
       flare from region 978.

The geomagnetic field was at quiet levels.

Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
expected to remain at quiet levels for the forecast period (07 - 09
       december).
