SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

Solar activity was very low. Region 953 (S10W17)
produced several B-class flares during the past 24 hours. The
largest was a B8 at 02/1602Z. This region is currently classified
as a beta magnetic spot group. Region 954 (S06E01) also produced a
       few low level B-class flares.

Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to be very
low to low with a slight chance for an isolated M-class flare.

The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 mev electron
flux at geosynchronous orbit remained at high levels today.

Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
expected to be predominantly quiet for the next three days.
