SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------
Solar activity was very low. Newly numbered region 972
(S05W06) emerged on the disk and is currently a small C-type sunspot
group. It produced a B1 flare at 05/2307Z.
Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to be very
low.
The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 mev electron
flux at geosynchronous orbit remained at high levels today.
Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
expected to be quiet for the next three days (07-09 october.)
