SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

Solar activity was at very low levels. The visible
       disk remained spotless.

Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to remain
       at very low levels.

The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 mev electron
flux at geosynchronous orbit was at high levels.

Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
expected to be quiet during the forecast period (25 - 27 august).
