SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------
Solar activity was very low. Region 984 (S08W93)
rotated quietly around the west limb. The visible disk is now
spotless.
Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to continue
at very low levels.
The geomagnetic field was quiet. The period ended with solar wind
speed near 320 km/s. The greater than 2 mev electron flux at
geosynchronous orbit reached high levels again today.
Geophysical activity forecast: the geomegnetic field is
expected to range from quiet to minor storming. A high speed coronal
hole stream is expected to rotate into a geoeffective position on 8
march. Active to minor storm periods are expected on 8 and 9 march.
Expect unsettled to active periods on 10 march.
