SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

Solar activity was very low. Region 986 (S04W57) is
currently an hsx alpha magnetic class with only one spot.

Solar activity forecast: solar activity is expected to remain
       very low.

The geomagnetic field was quiet. The greater than 2 mev electron flux
at geosynchronous orbit remained at high levels.

Geophysical activity forecast: the geomagnetic field is
expected to be mostly quiet with isolated unsettled periods for the
       next three days (17-19 march).
